Self Catering Holiday Cottage Llanrwst

Plas yn Dre Holiday Cottage is our farmhouse just across the road from the Meadowsweet Hotel.

With utterly breathtaking views along the Conwy river valley in the Historic town of Llanrwst, Plas yn Dre is only 4 miles away from Betws y Coed. On the doorstep of Plas yn Dre Cottage you will find pubs, bars, restaurants, shops for essential groceries, banks, and two (excellent) butchers-  however you still have that feeling of being in the country thanks to acres upon acres of rolling fields.

Plas yn Dre comes with its own fishing rights on our 6 acres with horses, ponies, sheep and wild rabbits

Of major note is Llanrwst’s weekly market on Tuesdays, where you can pick up fresh, locally produced food and varying items.

Plas yn Dre sleeps a maximum of 12 people in 5 good-sized bedrooms.

There is an outdoor area and seating with panoramic views of the fields, valley and Gwydir Forest. For mountain bikers, you’re more than welcome to take advantage of our completely free bike storage, and also our bike washing service.

There are a variety of farm animals and horses on the small holding. You may also bring your own horse on holiday with you. We also accept dogs (by prior arrangement only, so let us know and we’ll be more than happy to set you and your best friend up!)

Plas yn Dre’s location of Llanrwst is an ideal base for exploring the magnificent scenery and many attractions and activities offered in and around the Snowdonia National Park.

For instance, the summit of Snowdon can be reached via the mountain train from Llanberis. Plas Yn Dre is 20 minutes from Pen y Pass and 30 minutes from Llanberis. There is also so many castles around the area to explore – our very own here at Llanrwst Gwydir Castle, as well as castles in nearby Conwy, Caernarfon, Beaumaris, Harlech, Dolwydellan, Denbigh and Rhuddlan are within easy striking distance.
